Doc has been an entertainer in clubs most of his  professional life as well as being a singer and a songwriter.   Though he “cut his teeth” on the blues and considers it his favorite music, he has played in bands ranging from country to blues to R&B to jazz to plain ole Rock & Roll.   He has done extensive work in radio and co-hosted a popular morning drive show on Christian radio in Arkansas.   Doc is originally from the West Coast and is currently the worship pastor at New Life Community Church in Gardner, Kansas.   He joined Mission Blues in the fall of 2005 as the band’s lead guitarist and according to Doc, “you can never have TOO many guitars.”   In addition to making his guitar sing, he now co-writes most of the songs performed by the group, as well as singing lead vocals on most of the tunes.
